The ranks were also sometimes combined with metal &#8220;Shoulder Titles&#8221; bearing the inscription PALESTINE POLICE.<\/p>\n<p>This is a &#8220;Pip&#8221; \u2013 the most familiar rank insignia of officers in the British Mandate Police Force. The item in the picture is a model of the &#8220;Bath Star&#8221;, based on the emblems of the British Order of the Bath.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laurel Wreath: The crowns and motto are surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, an ancient Roman symbol of military glory and victory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.
