In addition, the unit manages the base's reinforcement and renovation projects. Most of the Construction Units are heterogeneous and include IDF civilian employees, permanent personnel, and soldiers. The Unit is divided into the following bodies:\r\n\u2022\t\u2022 Engineering Department \u2013 the department responsible for all projects in the unit \u2013 management with contractors and manufacturing departments and use as an implementation integrator in the characterization, planning and execution stages.\r\n\u2022\tUnder the department, there are usually manufacturing departments \u2013 CME (engineering mechanical equipment), locksmithing, carpentry, construction and maintenance. \u2022 Systems Department \u2013 the department responsible for the systems infrastructure at bases in various areas: electricity, water and sewage, air conditioning, diesel, heating, and more.
