· The epaulette “Military Boarding School” without a city designation is a historical epaulette that was used primarily at the Military Command Boarding School in Haifa (next to the Reali School), which was the first boarding school (1953) and the only one of its kind for many years. Until the establishment of the Military Boarding School in Tel Aviv in 1965, there was no need to distinguish between the institutions, and therefore the inscription was general.
