This item is not officially “standard” from the army, but rather a company item (merchandise) that soldiers order privately for themselves. The emblem combines elements unique to the unit and company:
- The motto: “To Infinity and Beyond” appears at the bottom of the emblem on a blue ribbon.
- “To Infinity and Beyond!” is the famous catchphrase of Buzz Lightyear, the hero of the Pixar “Toy Story” film series. The quote, which expresses positive thinking and aspiration for a distant destination, is considered by many to be one of the greatest cinematic quotes of all time
- The emblem: In the center appears a wall (symbolizing border protection) with the name “Nachshon” on it. The gray/white spot in the center is a camouflage pattern, matching the nature of the service of the collection soldiers.
